Family Support Worker

Precedo Healthcare are currently recruiting Family Support Workers to work on packages of care with familys requiring extra support between 7am and 9am in term time. Additional hours may be required around these times.

At the request of our client, we require females only for this role.

You will be expected to support and encourage them in their morning activities within their own home and on the way to school. To be successful in this role, you will need to;

  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Have an understanding of conditions such as Autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities and the emotional effects these may have on the child and families.
  • Be able to de-escalate challenging situations successfully
  • To support the child with any personal care needs they have
