Accountant / Bookkeeper | Amersham Buckinghamshire | Full Time - 40 hours per week, with a 30 minute lunch daily | Office Based / £28,000-£30,000 negotiable per year DOE

The successful candidate will earn £28,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on skill and experience, to be discussed at interview.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Must have own car
- AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years of accounts experience, with a strong focus on the purchase ledger
- Prior experience in a Bookkeeper/Accountant role
- A track record of managing various accounting duties with unwavering dedication and meeting tight deadlines. Project experience would be a plus.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel (experience with pivot tables and lookups is a plus)
- Multi-tasking is the watch word for this position as you will be dealing with 5 sets of books
What will your role look like?
This is no ordinary desk job; it's a chance to be part of something special! Your role will include:
- Reporting to the Group Finance Manager of a multi-entity organisation specialising in bespoke high-end property development and projects
- Are you well rounded with not only financial experience but also good administration skills
- Managing day-to-day transactions
- Processing all financial transactions into Sage accounting package including receipts, payments, invoices, and journals
- Using other in-house packages, Kimco, Procore
- Following up on outstanding Debtors
- Doing daily, weekly and monthly payment schedules
- Capturing and processing weekly CIS sub-contractors payments
- Reconciling bank and intercompany accounts
- Processing company debit cards and employees expense claims
- Fleet management
- Carry out ad hoc tasks as and when requested
