As we continue to grow and invest in cutting-edge technology, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help maintain and enhance our production facilities.

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by conducting preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company, with a focus on continuous improvement, while working on days only shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work alongside production teams to improve plant performance and reliability.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance in all maintenance activities.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and work with suppliers for any necessary parts.
  • Document all maintenance activities and generate reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge (both fault finding and repairs).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC) is desirable.
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Health and safety-conscious with a proactive approach to risk management.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, Day Shifts (No Night Shifts).
