Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs? We're looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Milton Keynes.

About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students aged 3-19 in a specialist setting that provides holistic support. You'll work closely with both verbal and non-verbal autistic learners, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with varying needs, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist setting, or equivalent experience in care or as a support worker.
  • Experience working with autistic learners (verbal and non-verbal) is preferred but not essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to support and inspire students.
