About the Role:

As a Homelessness Prevention Officer, you will play a key role in providing targeted support to women, men, and their families who are at risk of homelessness, particularly in rural areas. This role is not just about crisis management; it's about offering sustainable solutions and support that empower individuals to achieve long-term independence. You'll work with a dedicated team from four specialist domestic abuse charities, focusing on early intervention and holistic support tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive support and advice to those at risk of homelessness.
  • Work closely with partner organisations to deliver comprehensive support services.
  • Develop and implement personalised action plans to help clients maintain secure housing.
  • Focus on early intervention strategies, engaging with individuals at least two to three months before they reach crisis point.

Brook Street Social Care are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by those at risk of homelessness. Experience in housing support, social work, or related fields is highly desirable.
