Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:
• Innovate: Support new product development using Quality Planning tools to proactively identify risks and implement solutions.
• Ensure Excellence: Develop Route Cards and Inspection points based on risk assessments, customer requirements, and data analysis.
• Collaborate: Work closely with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of new products.
• Lead: Manage Malfunction Documents (MFD) and lead problem-solving teams to address root causes of issues.
• Audit: Conduct internal audits on Quality, Environmental, and Safety matters to drive continuous improvement.
• Support: Assist with NPI product dispatch through the ERP system.

What our client is looking for in a Quality Engineer:
• Experience: Background in quality within the defence or aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 (ISO 45001 and AS9100 a plus).
• Skills: Lead Auditor (ISO 14001 desirable).
• APQP/PPAP knowledge.
• H&S Certificate (NEBOSH preferred).
• Problem-solving abilities (8D experience).
• Excellent teamwork & communication skills.
