Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing high-volume transactions? Our client is seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Annual Salary: £26,000-29,000

Location: Andover

Job Type: Full-time - Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring timely completion.
  • Reconcile supplier statements quarterly, addressing any discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Investigate and resolve supplier queries efficiently.
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including attending supplier meetings.
  • Assist with system upgrades, annual audits, and provide management information as required.
  • Support other finance team members and undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk role or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software, preferably SAP.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
