TEAM MANAGER (SOCIAL CARE) - ANDOVER AREA - UP TO 26K + BENEFITS

Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with a regional charity, who provide care & support to adults and children within a supported living environment.

They have an exciting job opportunity for a Team Manager to work from their services in Andover, Hampshire. As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers, ensuring they provide the best possible care and support to children and young adults with learning disabilities or complex needs, at various supported living sites in the Andover area.

The Team Manager will work in partnership with senior care staff, care coordinators and the service manager in delivering exceptional care to clients. As the Team Manager, you will support a mixture of males and females with their finances, medications, meal preparations, personal care and support with communication. You will hold regular supervision within your team and support with any recruitment needs where required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care professional, looking to progress their management career, within a supported living environment. Previous experience working within supported living/home care is preferred, along with a good understanding of supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential along with supervisory experience and excellent communication skills.

In return, the Team Manager will receive a salary ofcirca 26K, plus additional benefits including an employee assistance programme and blue light card. You will be required to work a mixture of shifts which will include some 7am starts and 10pm finishes. There is also a requirement to work every other weekend.
