Role: Commercial AdministratorLocation: Andover, HampshireRate: £150-180 per day (outside IR35)Contract: (7 Months) until August 2025We are seeking a proactive Commercial Administrator to join our clients site based team in Andover, Hampshire. The Commercial Administrator will be supporting the onsite Quantity Surveyors with a range of duties and required until the end of the project in August 2025. This is a site based, full time role and you will be required on site 5 days a week.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all commercial documents, including contracts, variations, payment applications, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the monitoring of project costs, budgets, and expenditure, ensuring all financial data is up to date.
  • Support the procurement and management of subcontractor packages, including issuing tender enquiries and tracking responses.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, such as cost-value reconciliations (CVRs) and cash flow forecasts, under the guidance of the commercial team.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of payment applications and processing subcontractor invoices.
  • Support the team in administering contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and timelines.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and the project team, to ensure smooth project delivery.

RequirementsPrevious experience in a similar role, working as a Commercial Administrator or junior Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment is essential for this role. You'll also need to have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and administrative skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
