- Position: Functional Skills Tutor
- Location: Hybrid work available with some on-site requirements
- Hours: Full-time with flexible working hours
- Salary: £29,993.60 per annum
- Start Date: ASAP
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English and Maths support to apprentices in the Army. This role offers the chance to work in a more structured and disciplined environment, ideal for educators who may feel unsupported in traditional classrooms and are seeking a more focused setting.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, CertED, PGCE, or DTLLS)
- Previous teaching experience or a passion for supporting learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver functional skills education (English and Maths) to apprentices in the Army
- Support apprentices in achieving their qualifications and progressing in their apprenticeships
- Develop engaging and effective learning resources
- Provide one-on-one support and feedback to learners
