Our client is a fast growing SME in the hospitality sector, known for its commitment to providing luxurious quality and customer satisfaction - currently seeking to recruit a commercially-minded Accountant to take on the role of FP&A Analyst within their team based in Andover.

The FP&A Analyst will be a linchpin in analysing and maintaining the financial health of the company, delivering business-critical insights to identify growth opportunities and risk and presenting a monthly reporting pack to the management team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing analysis, reports & providing insights to guide strategic and operational decision making
  • Collaborate with the wider team to prepare annual budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor and report actual performance against forecasts, providing valuable variance analysis and strategic recommendations
  • Play a key role in the production and delivery of the monthly management accounts
  • Ad-hoc reporting & analysis
  • Stock analysis and margin improvement

Preferred Candidate Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or FP&A role
  • AAT qualified or progression towards would be advantageous
  • Studying CIMA or interested in starting CIMA (study support will be provided)
  • Strong commercial acumen & analytical skills
  • Efficient user of systems, with excellent proficiency in Excel
  • Detail-oriented and commercially savvy
  • Eagerness to support business growth and profitability
  • Happy to work in the office full-time, with ad-hoc working from home on occasion
