Chilworth Partnership are working with a global brand based near Basingstoke in their search for a Group FP&A Manager. The business are renowned for the envious culture and excellent progression opportunities. Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:

  • Acts as a business partner for a number of the Group’s Business Units, developing a close understanding of the levers and financial performance.
  • Provides high quality financial and commercial resource to Business Unit and Group leadership.
  • Provide support to the CEO and CFO in reviews.
  • Provides genuine and thought-leading insight and recommendations to BU's and leadership team.
  • Plays a vital role in the group’s planning, budgeting & forecasting processes.
  • Reviews period reporting from BUs and of Group Finance teams’ first level control & analysis, pulling together top line summary to Group.
  • Responsible for the design of value-adding reporting processes and analysis tools for the Group.
  • Leads on major projects across the group, including investment and acquisition evaluations.
  • Facilitate and support business-wide functional agenda to build finance partnering capabilities. 

You will be:

  • A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Significant commercial experience including business planning & analysis.
  • Previous experience business partnering with senior non-finance managers.
  • Experience of critically reviewing effectiveness of investments with less predictable returns (eg marketing).
  • Understanding of differing pricing strategies.
  • Highly analytical and detail conscious, whilst being able to spot trends, digest information quickly and distil issues effectively.
  • Technically competent with foundation in financial rigour.
