CAD Technician

Personnel Selection Recruitment are assisting one of long term established clients with the sourcing of a CAD Technician for a permanent position based in Andover Hampshire. This position is working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. and covers UK and NI Territories.

Our client produces tension fabric items for the construction and architectural industry to include sporting venues, hospitality and industrial sectors. Working to ISO 9001 procedures.

To be considered for the role you will need the following skills:

• Engineering or Technical background.
• Full Drivers Licence.
• 2D / 3D CAD using DesignCAD, Rhino, AutoCAD within a manufacturing background.
• Mainly based at Andover office however you may occasionally have to attend site surveys if need arises.
• Development of drawings from samples.
• Producing fabrication drawings for both metal and membrane workshops.
• Development of 3D membrane forms and 2D cutting patterns.
• Assistance with ISO 9001 Quality Control programme.
• Assistance with Health & Safety (risk assessments, accreditation certification)
• Drawing Library maintenance.
• Customer visuals.
• Purchasing assistance.
• Self driven and motivated. Confident with strong work ethic.
• Able to work to targets and budgets.
• LEAN Manufacturing awareness.
