Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Service Engineer needed to join a manufacturer of packaging machinery and automation equipment.
The Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Service Engineer will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings to build various types of machinery.
The Successful Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Service Engineer will be commutable to Andover and ideally have experience with mechanical fault-finding & electro-mechanical systems.

The Role:
- The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings to build various types of machinery.
- The Mechanical Fitter will work independently and as part of the team to meet project delivery dates.
- The Mechanical fitter will occasionally need to use different machinery such as lathes and mills.
- The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for reporting any issues during assembly, to the Engineering manager.
- Prior experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer or similar position
- Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative
- Commutable to Andover
