Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery time lines and optimise resources.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure materials availability.
  • Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Manage the allocation of labour, machinery, and materials to meet targets.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production output, efficiency, and cost.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of production or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management capacity is required.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:

  • Majority of time in a production facility environment.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work depending on production demands.
  • Regular adherence to health and safety procedures.
