Position Title: Production and Engineering Manager
Location: Andover
Salary Range: £45K-£55K

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery time lines and optimise resources.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure materials availability.
- Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Manage the allocation of labour, machinery, and materials to meet targets.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production output, efficiency, and cost.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of production or manufacturing experience.
- Experience in a supervisory or management capacity is required.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Majority of time in a production facility environment.
- Occasional evening or weekend work depending on production demands.
- Regular adherence to health and safety procedures.
