Are you a passionate educator ready to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs? GSL is excited to offer an extraordinary opportunity for a Qualified SEN Science Teacher who possesses a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) here in Andover.

Your Role as a SEN Science Teacher:

  • Personalized Education: Tailor your teaching to meet the unique needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Dyslexia, and more.
  • Empower and Inspire: Create a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping your students thrive academically and emotionally.

Teaching Requirements:

  • Experienced teaching up to GCSE level (English or Maths preferable but not essential)
  • Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability to thrive in our busy school environment
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to our pupils' diverse needs
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current research in education
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for building strong relationships with staff and pupils
  • Strong IT skills and ability to lead others proactively

To work with GSL Education as an SEN Science Teacher, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
