Our client manufacture a range of products to the construction sector across UK & Ireland

We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the team working across production equipment and machinery carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance

Monday to Friday hours working a 3 shift rotation of early 6am - 3.30pm, days 8am - 5.30pm and lates 3.30pm - 1am, with Fridays finishing early on each shift

Attractive salary package on offer in the 38 - 45k range negotiable on skills and experience

The Role

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on high speed automated equipment
  • Maintain and support automated production and conveying systems
  • Respond to breakdowns quickly and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
  • Work as part a team to support production and operations
  • Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues

What we are looking for

  • Level 3 or above apprenticeship Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Proven knowledge and experience of production equipment maintenance
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of CNC machines is desirable
  • Knowledge of PLC's
  • Electrical fault finding skills and problem solving
  • Can troubleshoot effectively in a fast paced production setting
