Our client manufacture a range of products to the construction sector across UK & Ireland
We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the team working across production equipment and machinery carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance
Monday to Friday hours working a 3 shift rotation of early 6am - 3.30pm, days 8am - 5.30pm and lates 3.30pm - 1am, with Fridays finishing early on each shift
Attractive salary package on offer in the 38 - 45k range negotiable on skills and experience
The Role
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on high speed automated equipment
- Maintain and support automated production and conveying systems
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
- Work as part a team to support production and operations
- Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues
What we are looking for
- Level 3 or above apprenticeship Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proven knowledge and experience of production equipment maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of CNC machines is desirable
- Knowledge of PLC's
- Electrical fault finding skills and problem solving
- Can troubleshoot effectively in a fast paced production setting
