Your new companyHays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of our exclusive & retained client based in Arbroath for a permanent Finance Manager to join & lead this small & busy team. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience + 30 days annual leave, competitive pension & hybrid working (3 days in office & 2 from home) once fully trained.Your new roleReporting to the Managing Director, you will be the most senior member of a small & busy finance team. You will produce quarterly management accounts including all associated analysis. You will have control of the company bank accounts & payments and be the point of contact for various internal & external stakeholders. You will complete budgeting & cash-flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns & year-end accounting. You will also supervise a small finance team who complete all the transactional accounting and oversee the outsourced payroll. You will be involved in process & system improvement as and when required and any other financial & non-financial responsibilities as needed.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified or qualified by experience Accountant who is experienced in the use of Sage. You will have experience completing both management & financial accounting and enjoy working in a 'hands on' finance position. You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to liaise with internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
