Transactional Finance Manager

We are working with a brilliant business based near Haywards Heath who are looking for someone to join them as a Permanent Finance Manager. In this role you will be a key part of the Finance team, managing the transactional Finance processes in the department.

You will be responsible for 3 direct reports, working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure that Accounts receivable, Payable and Payroll are accurate each month.

Day to day will be varied but may include:

  • Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Monthly debt reconciliations
  • Overseeing the monthly billing ledger
  • Overseeing the AP processes including signing of weekly pay runs
  • Reviewing the monthly payroll process including sign off
  • Support with the annual budgeting process
  • Cashflow analysis and reporting
  • Support and development of the team

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience in management of Transactional processes
  • Payroll knowledge
  • At least part ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience with supervising a small team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to produce reports to senior stakeholders
