The Role:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people in a safe, supportive, and homely environment. You will play a key role in their emotional, social, and physical development while helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and support to children and young people.
  • Promote positive relationships and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Work closely with the team to develop individualised care plans.
  • Assist with educational, social, and recreational activities.
  • Encourage personal development, independence, and life skills.
  • Support children with emotional and behavioural challenges in line with care plans.
  • Ensure safeguarding and well-being standards are maintained at all times.
  • Work within legislative requirements, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

  • Compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals.
  • Experience in a similar role or working with children and young people (desirable but not essential).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Full UK driving license (desirable).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or willingness to work towards it.
