Orka Financial is working with a rapidly growing business in Ascot who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to progress within a business and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role is fully onsite with free parking provided and does offer study support. Key Responsibilities:
- Posting of sales and purchase invoices
- Investigating and resolving unallocated items efficiently
- Reconciling supplier statements and bank statements
- Posting of journals
- Assisting with other finance-related tasks as required
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Handling finance-related telephone and email queries
- Ensuring accurate and efficient use of Microsoft Excel
- Working under pressure and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other departments
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Experience using Sage 50 (desirable but not essential)
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively
- A proactive, problem-solving approach to finance tasks
