About the Role:

We are looking for a part-qualified or experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic team in Turnditch, Belper. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions for two businesses – Home and Enable. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong analytical and numerical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Produce daily stats and KPIs, providing key insights into the financial performance.
  • Generate weekly flash reports to track business performance.
  • Provide variance analysis of actuals versus budget/forecast.
  • Raise invoices and monitor payments due, ensuring all are approved and paid on time.
  • Pay referral fees and calculate surveyor bonuses.
  • Process payroll details and submit them to the external provider.
  • Process payments and ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Assist with month-end accounts, including P&L and balance sheet preparation.
  • Handle intercompany invoices and reconciliation.
  • Post monthly journals (including prepayments and accruals) and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end slides for the board pack.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis as required by the business.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or equivalent experience in Management Accounting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Solid experience with finance software and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
