This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our Clients in Derby, driving DAYS - delivering to farms and businesses NATIONWIDE.Driver Responsibilities:Driving a Class I vehicle, following a planned route from the Clients site in Derby to farms and business across the UK typically in more rural area's.Driver requirements and skills:* You must be happy with Nationwide deliveries and driving in more rural areas* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards* Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points.* All paper work must be checked and completed as instructed* Drivers are to download their DIGI card at the start and end of each shift* Drivers are to follow site rules and procedures provided beforehand* Drivers are to adhere to the 5 MPH speed limit whilst on site* Handball may be required but only light and on the odd occasion* Drivers are reminded of their responsibilities to Drivers hours legislation and RT(WT)R* Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.* Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.* You must have good geographical knowledgeDriver Key Information and Benefits:* Weekly pay* FREE onsite parking* Rate is a minimum of £18.00 per hour [PAYE] + 28 day's holidays* Continued professional development and in house DCPC periodic training will be provided [after a qualifying period]* A safe working environmentDriver Shift time:* Monday to Friday - DAYS* Minimum 8 hours pay per shiftTo be considered for this role as a HGV Class I (C+E) DAY DRIVER, please apply directly to the Gi Group, Central Recruitment Team by calling Jan on - or - call our Nottingham Driving Team on .
