Working on behalf of our client we are currently recruiting for a number of Laboratory Technicians to join their successful company.

About you

  • You will be computer literate, able to work on your own initiative and be used to working as part of a small, flexible team.
  • You will be flexible in your approach and enjoy training and learning new skills.

The Role and what you will learn: -

  • Carry out analysis by wet chemistry techniques,
  • analyse samples for vitamins mineral analysis and enzymes together with NIR analysis of raw materials, feeds and forages
  • Assist the Services Manager, Senior Analyst and Senior NIR technician in the effective performance of their duties
  • Specific responsibility for all aspects of sample preparation.
  • Ensure the laboratories, stock rooms and associated areas and all equipment within are clean and properly maintained.
  • Ensure that all samples are stored correctly and clearly.
