Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attachment needs, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).
Assist in delivering engaging and accessible lessons to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
Adapt learning materials to suit individual student needs and abilities.
Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that encourages student progress.
Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and student outcomes.
Provide feedback on student progress and identify areas for development.

Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
Experience working with students with additional learning needs.
A passion for supporting students with complex needs.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A flexible and resilient approach to working in an alternative provision setting.
