Are you looking for your next challenge as a Telecoms Design Engineer / SISS Design Engineer / Rail Design Engineer?
Your background as a Telecoms Design Engineer:
- Good general knowledge of engineering design e.g., general arrangement drawings, schematic diagrams, loop diagrams etc..
- Able to read, interpret, and produce engineering designs and drawings.
- Able to produce project documentation e.g., functional design specifications, test procedures, drawings etc
- Any specific experience of working on rail telecoms, rail systems, control systems, electrical systems, automation systems projects would be beneficial.
- You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / Degree) in an engineering discipline.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple people and disciplines within the business.
Telecoms Design Engineer responsibilities:
- You will be part of an industry leading engineering team delivering safety solutions within the rail systems industry.
- You will be involved in writing specifications, producing designs and providing engineering support to site-based engineering teams.
- Undertake reviews and audits of designs.
- Provide a technical interface with customers.
- Produce project documentation such as functional design specification sand test procedures.
- You will have lots of opportunities for skills development, training, and career growth.
