FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a PPT Driver on behalf of our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

PPT Driver Job Benefits:
- 12.73 per hour
- Rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

PPT Driver Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a PPT to transport goods and materials to designated location
- Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated location
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
- Assist with stock counts and movements and any other operational work areas
- Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean and tidy at all times including general housekeeping duties
- Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures
- Any other tasks as required
PPT Driver Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a PPT Driver, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
