With a small bar, restaurant and private dining space this restaurant is also supported by some well-appointed bedrooms. As Assistant General Manager you will be responsible for the management and development of around 20 full and part time staff.
You must take a hands-on approach to training and lead from the front running service and making sure guests are well taken care of. Rotas, ordering, and achieving beverage and payroll costs are also part of this role. A decent knowledge of fine dining and wines would also be an advantage.
For this Assistant General Managers role you must have worked to a similar level in gastro pubs, fine dining restaurants, or boutique hotels. An ability to organise and manage a close knit team is vital.
Along with a decent basic salary there is also an opportunity to earn extra with service charge.
