Applications Engineer – Chromatography

Salary: £38k - £45k

Location: Kent

With exclusive partnerships with some of the most well-known OEM’s as well as valued clients consisting of huge pharmaceutical companies across the UK and Europe, this would be a great opportunity for an applications engineer to be in a senior position with broad responsibilities and further OEM training.

 

In this Applications Engineer position, an engineer can expect:

  • Management of the lab including ordering consumables & maintaining in-house equipment.
  • Identify new opportunities & develop applications of their current portfolio of analytical instruments.
  • Developing applications for their customers, solving challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Perform hardware and software demonstrations.
  • Support field engineers with installations and train customers.
  • Remote customer support.
  • Contribute to the sales process by performing presentations and presenting applications.

 

A suitable candidate for this Chromatography service engineer position would need:

  • A degree in chemistry or similar scientific field.
  • Strong methodical ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience developing applications for Liquid and Gas chromatography (LC, GC).
  • Experience with industry regulations such as GLP.
  • Unrestricted UK right to work and full driving license.
