Job Title: Deputy Head of Department - Engineering

Salary: £46,204 (DOE and Qualifications)

Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

Location: Ashford, Kent

Contract: Permanent

Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is currently working with a college in Kent and we're looking for a Deputy Head of Department for the Engineering team. This is a state-of-the-art facility which has received a very generous investment for the department.

With robotic Kuka arms, XYZ CNC mills and lathes, 3D printers, computer-based labs (with CAD software) + more, you’ll have all the latest equipment to manufacture engaging & creative programmes.

What will you do:

Work alongside the HO Engineering,

Develop the courses,

Teach and support students,

Oversee the Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualifications,

Implement and launch the T-Levels in Engineering,.

Must have:

Must be a qualified and experienced Lecturer,

You must have Engineering industry qualification,

Must have at least 5 years teaching experience within the FE sector,

The right to work in the UK.

Ideally have:

DBS on the update service,

Experience leading a team,

Experience of managing study programmes.
