Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced professionals with a background in Health & Safety and compliance from the environmental sector, interested in a full time, permanent position based in Kent.
Job Profile
- Responsible for the overall management of health, safety and environmental practices and will act as the Responsible Person for the company.
- Responsible for driving HSE initiatives to achieve business goals.
- Updating relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and confident managing different situations and people.
- Proactive in producing reports and monitoring health, safety and environmental matters.
Applicant Profile
- Right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, our client cannot offer sponsorships at this time.
- Good understanding of health & safety and environmental legislation applicable in the UK.
- Full Member of a relevant professional body (or working towards it) e.g., IOSH, CIWM, RoSPA, IEMA
- NEBOSH Diploma
- Environmental Management Diploma
- A proven track record of managing in a high-risk environment.
- Competent in developing and delivering H&S Training
- Experience of liaising with the Health & Safety Executive and the Environment Agency in the UK.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
