- Oversee the performance management of your team to meet contractual targets and objectives related to success rates, non-starters, referrals, and progressions.
- Recruit, manage, and support a team of Apprenticeship Tutors across various sectors.
- Set and monitor monthly KPIs to ensure the timely completion of all elements of the apprenticeship programme, including functional skills and additional learning support.
- Facilitate continuous staff training to maintain consistent processes and practices in line with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct monthly one-on-one appraisals and coaching sessions with Apprenticeship Tutors, contributing to their personal development plans and the Quality Improvement Plan.
- Address underperformance and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support business growth and learner recruitment.
- Work closely with Performance Managers, Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Administration teams to ensure a cohesive learner experience from application to completion.
- Conduct regular observations of teaching and learning in the field and monitor functional skills delivery for continuous learner development.
- Ensure programme performance aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proven experience in driving quality learning and achieving learner start and completion targets.
- Strong knowledge of Apprenticeships and relevant funding streams.
- Recent experience in a similar Operations/Performance Manager role, managing a team of Assessors delivering on the New Standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in IT and comfortable working with e-portfolios and various software platforms.
- Confident in building professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Ofsted requirements.
- Solid occupational experience within an educational or training environment, particularly in early years or teaching.
