We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic special needs school in Ashford, supporting secondary-aged students with ASD and SEMH needs. Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and group support to secondary-aged students with ASD and SEMH needs, assisting with both learning and daily tasks.
- Offer personal care where necessary, ensuring the well-being and dignity of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) and manage behaviour effectively.
- Create a supportive, safe, and engaging environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly ASD and SEMH, is preferred.
- Ability to provide personal care, including assistance with toileting and feeding, when required.
- Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and obtain clearances.
- Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
