We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic special needs school in Ashford, supporting secondary-aged students with ASD and SEMH needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to secondary-aged students with ASD and SEMH needs, assisting with both learning and daily tasks.
  • Offer personal care where necessary, ensuring the well-being and dignity of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Create a supportive, safe, and engaging environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and obtain clearances.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
