Fast-growth and prominent firm of accountants based in Ashford now has another terribly exciting opportunity for a client manager to join their business services team.

The firm has a strong presence in the Kent marketplace, representing a wide array of clients and operating successfully in a number of niche sectors.

This is a leadership role running your own portfolio of clients and having access to a pool of employees. This role might suit someone in a similar position but frustrated with the level of responsibility and autonomy they are being offered, or alternatively, a high calibre senior of supervisor ready for the next step up.

Working closely with a number of Partners the day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Managing a mixed portfolio of clients in all aspects of their accounting affairs
  • Mentoring and developing a pool of junior candidates
  • Reviewing and preparing statutory year end accounts
  • Managing aspects of the outsourced function
  • Some specific tax advisory duties
  • Getting involved in business development, marketing and business strategy
  • Representing the firm at a number of networking events and business functions

This opportunity requires someone that is technically strong, can communicate, motivate and inspire those around them. It also requires someone that can deliver the highest possible delivery to the firm’s clients.

You will form part of the senior leadership team sitting just under the Partners and the role not only offers support, structure and progression but also a challenging but also a friendly day to day work environment.
