Senior Finance Business Partner | Ashford (Hybrid) | £65k - £72k

Cobb & Jones Recruitment are supporting a reputable international brand in their search for a new Senior Finance Business Partner. Partnering the leadership team to deliver the transformational journey, focused on cost leadership, and driving accountability. Additionally, partnering the wider business for all CapEx / depreciation related activity, supporting the future strategy, always ensuring strong financial governance. This role acts as a deputy to the Head of Finance.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all cost related activity, including weekly Flash, monthly cycles, quarterly reviews and annual budgets.
  • Identify risks and/or opportunities and implement action plans to maximise cost performance.
  • Present financial performance to CIO & Leadership team at monthly review meetings and to the CFO at FPRs.
  • Develop a close relationship with International FP&A and product owners to coordinate and effectively manage Sysco Recharges and drive system enhancements.
  • Proactively drive collaboration and alignment across all CapEx & Depreciation.
  • Be the primary contact for all CapEx/Depreciation related queries and provide sound financial guidance on all capital requests.
  • Management of capital cashflow and driving forecasting accuracy.
  • Develop business cases for projects, track project delivery and carry out post implementation reviews.
  • Involvement in finance support for UK/European projects as required to support senior management.
  • Management of a direct report.

Profile:

You must be CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified, working in a Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner role looking to take the next step in your career. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment and has strong communication and stakeholder manager skills across all levels up to Exec. You will be an expert managing Cost Control and Capex and be able to think logically and outside the box, Confident to push back and challenge the status quo where required. Someone with strong analytical skills and a high level of competency in finance modelling is essential. A great role for an analytical thinker with strong influencing skills to join the team!

To be considered for this role you must have at least 1 years experience of Capex relevant analysis, management or appraisal work.
