Job Title: Section Planner

I am looking for an experienced Section Planner to work on a contracting basis across the whole of Kent, based out of Ashford.
This contract will be 6 months long initially.
The role:
This role would suit an existing Section Planner, or someone with extensive prior experience as a Possessions Planner.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Compile and maintain infrastructure maintenance documentation.
- Lead and manage weekly Plan-Do-Review sessions
- Act on behalf of Section Managers during planning meetings.
- Prepare draft versions of quarterly plans.
- Develop Safe System of Work plans.
- Submit requests for green zone access and isolation.
- Organise and optimise all assigned tasks for the section.
- Update systems, databases, and records with precision as needed.
Essential requirements:
- Expertise in producing work plans and optimising resources
- Core Planning Skills Level 2
- Experience with scheduling profiles in work planning/scheduling systems
- Proficiency in the Safe System of Work Planning Process and System
- Understanding of access and possession procedures and systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities
Desirable:
- Experience using SSOWPS Ellipse
- Understanding of maintenance delivery methods and techniques
