HR Advisor | South Kent | £35-45K
We are seeking a skilled and driven HR professional to join our clients team, you’ll play a pivotal role in hiring, compliance, employee engagement, and driving HR operations forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Partner with the recruitment team to support hiring needs, from screening and interviewing to selecting candidates. Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless and engaging experience. Work closely with managers to identify onboarding needs and continuously enhance the process for different roles.
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Stay ahead of changes in employment legislation, ensuring full compliance with labour laws and HR policies. Advise managers and employees on critical issues such as diversity, equity, and inclusion. Support audit processes and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of HR transactions.
- HR Operations & Process Improvement: Help streamline HR processes like leave management, payroll, and employee data. Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making, maintaining and presenting HR metrics that bring actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine HR operations and enhance the employee experience.
- Training & Development: Facilitate essential HR training sessions, including compliance, performance management, and conflict resolution. Work with the Learning & Development team to address skill gaps and monitor the effectiveness of training programs, suggesting improvements as needed.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Be an integral part of employee engagement initiatives, helping improve workplace culture through action plans and team-building activities. Conduct exit interviews, analyse turnover trends, and recommend strategies to enhance employee retention and morale.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years in HR operations, employee relations, or a similar role. Experience in a fast-paced, operational environment is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), MS Office Suite, and familiarity with data analytics tools will set you apart.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of employment law, HR policies, and employee relations best practices is essential.
