Our client is a specialist crane hire & transport company based between Ashford and Maidstone.
They are committed to excellent customer service and are looking for a CAD & Hire Desk Assistant working on a temporary to permanent basis.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 or 09:00 to 17:30 and the role will be 100% office based. Due to the client location applicants will need to have their own transport.
The annual salary will be 拢30,000 and paid at an hourly rate of 拢14.42 per hour while working temporary with the client.
Key responsibilities:
路 Creating rigging diagrams on AutoCad
路 Using AutoCad for site plans to bring a more professional look to the lift plans
路 Gain knowledge of the fleet and specifications of the cranes and where spec sheets and duty charts will be available
路 Sending quotes for customers for jobs
路 Assisting the hire desk & transport team
路 Sending Hire Contracts and Purchase Orders
路 Daily co-ordination with the Operations Director to fulfil customer requirements
路 Organising and hiring an extra equipment and accessories needed for job
路 Helping to organise cross-hires and site labour
Key Person Specification:
路 Good knowledge of AutoCad
路 Excellent ICT and skills including spreadsheets, word processing and databases.
路 Adept at communicating data and analysis to all stakeholders.
路 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
路 Ability to focus on detail, accuracy and consistency.
路 Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines, managing competing priorities.
路 A good level of education ideally graduate level or equivalent.
路 Full UK driving licence and own transport
