Premier Recruitment Group is partnering with a prestigious legal firm based in Pembury, Kent, renowned for its excellence in legal services. We are seeking an experienced and driven Partner-level Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to lead their conveyancing department.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Head of Conveyancing, you will play a key leadership role within the firm. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the conveyancing department, ensuring the team meets targets and delivers high-quality service.
  • Supervising and mentoring a junior conveyancer, providing guidance, support, and fostering their professional development.
  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient and effective communication.
  • Driving the development and implementation of departmental strategies and processes to ensure continued growth and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of client care, while maintaining and building strong relationships within the local property market.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 6 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Proven leadership experience within a conveyancing team or department.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Excellent mentoring and team leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and IT tools.
  • Attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
