This is a Senior Legal Counsel Projects role for a Lawyer with in-depth experience of commercial contracts and infrastructure (preferably in-house)

Client Details

This organisation is the owner operator of a major piece of UK Rail Infrastructure.

Description

The role holder will be a Senior member of a Legal Team providing legal support and advice to stakeholders across the organisation. This will include:

  • Drafting, negotiating and approving a very wide range of commercial contracts relating to supply chain, construction/engineering, IT & IP and marketing as well as many other areas which are fundamental to the operational running of this infrastructure asset.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify areas of risk and requirements affecting the group's business.

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

  • likely to have at least 3 years PQE
  • able to provide generic legal advice on projects work for outset of employment

Desirable:

  • Previous in-house experience gained working on matters within infrastructure
  • Conversational French and/or the ability to draft in French
