We are recruiting for an experienced Transport Supervisor level candidate for our global client based near Heathrow.

They deal with specialist goods and looking for someone to report to the transport manager and assist with overseeing the transport operations department. This will include managing the drivers and overseeing the co-ordinators within the department.

Duties also include:

- Keeping training records up to date

- Monitoring bookings with third party staff / vehicles

- Recruiting new staff and monitoring staffing levels / rota's

- Overseeing transport office and ensuring daily checks / tasks are carried out efficiently

- Managing POD returns

- Assisting with monitoring suppliers costs and KPI'S

- Responsible for monitoring and resolving vehicle defects

- Keeping vehicle maintenance reports and work up to date

- Working in accordance with compliance

- Managing fuel cards and usage

- Managing parking tickets / permits and congestion charges

You must have experience at a senior level within transport for atleast 2 years, a HGV license would be a major advantage however not essential and have good people skills, be confident leading a team and experience managing people and a fleet of HGV vehicles.

Working Hours - 06.00-14.30pm Monday to Friday
