Production Planners opportunity in this expanding high tech engineering /manufacturing company.

As a Production Planner and scheduler you will ensure the production processes run smoothly and meets customer deadlines. You will work closely with various departments and take ownership of the scheduling process. In the long term, you will help integrate new scheduling software into our ERP system and manage daily scheduling for all production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise MRP systems to manage production work orders
  • Oversee the completion of finished goods for dispatch
  • Collaborate with Inspection and Purchasing on subcontracted orders
  • Coordinate with Sales, Quality, Engineering, and CAD teams
  • Advise Purchasing and Stores on schedule changes affecting raw materials
  • Identify production bottlenecks and support process improvements
  • Maintain data integrity within the master data system
  • Develop weekly production plans to maximise efficiency

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • At least two years of experience in a planning role within a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Proficient in IT, including MRP systems, Excel, and Word
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing planning requirements
  • Excellent analytical and organisational abilities, with a knack for multitasking and meeting deadlines
