Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading land-led housebuilder in the Southeast, specialising in the development of new homes and communities. They partner with housing associations, landowners, and fund managers to deliver quality developments. Comprising eight subsidiaries.

The Role
We are seeking a Planning Manager to deliver a comprehensive planning service across our Group. This role is key to supporting our Land & Planning team by managing various planning applications, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with planning regulations. You will be involved from the early stages of planning and development appraisals to managing s106 agreements and monitoring planning conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full planning service.
  • Conduct site assessments and examine planning histories.
  • Prepare and manage the submission of planning applications.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with s106 agreements and planning conditions.
  • Support the Land & Planning team with project management of planning applications.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MRTPI status or working towards it, with a degree in planning or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the planning process and procedures.
  • Excellent IT and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of both public and private sector planning is preferred.
