Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing purchase and sales ledgers.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation's across multiple accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Handle supplier and customer inquiries professionally.
- Assist with VAT returns and compliance tasks.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team on administrative duties and special projects.
- Perform ad hoc administrative and accounts tasks as required to support the finance team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Sage and Xero is essential.
- Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data handling.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and ability to work within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- AAT Level 3 qualification
