Reed Accountancy & Finance is Supporting Our Client: Exciting Opportunity for a Trainee Legal Cashier

Are you poised to start a rewarding career in the legal finance sector? We are on the lookout for a driven individual to join our client's team as a Trainee Legal Cashier. This pivotal role is stationed in their Ashford office, where you will become a key member of our accounts team for a 6-month contract basis. 

What You Will Do:

  • Engage in daily accounting activities under the mentorship of our experienced Accounts Manager and Senior Cashier.
  • Manage electronic transactions and ensure the accuracy of financial operations.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and meticulously oversee both office and client bank accounts.
  • Assist fee earners with financial transactions and maintain detailed records.
  • Enhance the overall efficiency of our Central Services Department through various support tasks.

Who You Are:

  • You possess a robust understanding of numbers and showcase meticulous accuracy in your work.
  • Your organizational skills are exceptional, and you have a sharp eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is crucial.
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, making you an excellent team player.
  • Experience in a cashier or accounts role is preferred but not mandatory.
