Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Ashford
Location: Ashford
Daily Rate: £110 - £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP ongoing - full time
Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role at a large secondary school in Ashford. The role is to start ASAP on a full time long term basis with the option of going on a permanent contract with the school for the right candidate.
The Role
- Provide targeted support to individual students, small groups and whole class depending on the needs of the day
- Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher when required
- Plan, prepare and deliver group work or Team Teaching with the main class teacher
- Support students during classes to enable them to access the curriculum
Requirements
- Hold HLTA qualification or have HLTA experience
- Experience planning and delivering specialist PPA lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
