- Lead the development and implementation of homelessness prevention strategies
- Manage operational budgets and maximise funding opportunities
- Oversee the allocation of housing, including social lettings agency functions
- Develop and monitor service improvement strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with housing providers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, appeals, and reviews
- Represent the Housing Service at internal and external meetings
- Proven experience managing teams and budgets within a housing setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Experience in conducting formal legal reviews of housing decisions
- Ability to develop and implement service improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Temporary - 3 months. Potential to be made permanent
- Full-time - 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
- The pay range for the role is £45.00 to £47.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £38.36 to £40.07 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
