We have a fantastic opportunity for a Used Car Manager to join a welcoming team in the Ashford area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar automotive environment, with a proven track record in managing a team to deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrating profit orientation and commercial awareness. In addition, the ability to work well under pressure and being a resilient individual is essential in this fast-paced, high-pressure role.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for vehicle procurement via all available channels including auctions, direct purchases from the customer database, and online platforms, with a minimum volume expectation to be outlined.

* Ensuring vehicles are displayed to the highest standard online and on the forecourt.

* Responsible for the management of vehicle pricing and updates across all platforms.

* Being proficient with vehicle descriptions and adverts.

* Attention to detail is required when analyzing vehicle images and online adverts.

* Provide leadership and effectively manage all staff to maximize productivity and meet or exceed sales & profit targets set by the dealership.

* Effectively managing the movement of trade vehicles and maximizing profit from these vehicles.

* Responsible for managing the vehicle preparation process through to the car hitting the forecourt.

* Working closely with key personnel, including those from other departments, to establish and implement the best practices to ensure customers receive exceptional service.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license is essential. Your standard hours of work will be 44 hours five days a week including Saturdays; however, to enhance the work-life balance of our Sales teams, the dealership is currently closed on Sundays.

Salary: OTE 60,000 for the right candidate.
