Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a variety of planning applications and projects, from residential developments to large-scale commercial schemes.
- Provide expert planning advice to clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site appraisals, draft planning reports, and prepare statements.
- Liaise with clients, public bodies, and other professionals to ensure project success.
- Contribute to the team's business development activities, including writing bids and attending client meetings.
Skills and Experience:
- RTPI accreditation (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related field.
- A strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policies.
- Proven experience in handling a variety of planning projects, with a solid track record in the private or public sector.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
