Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a variety of planning applications and projects, from residential developments to large-scale commercial schemes.
  • Provide expert planning advice to clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site appraisals, draft planning reports, and prepare statements.
  • Liaise with clients, public bodies, and other professionals to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to the team's business development activities, including writing bids and attending client meetings.

Skills and Experience:

  • RTPI accreditation (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policies.
  • Proven experience in handling a variety of planning projects, with a solid track record in the private or public sector.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
